Hi everyone, I fell in love with hardy geraniums this season and ordered a mix online. My absolute favorite so far is Dragon Heart, I was very exited to find it locally. It's a young plant but the first blooms looked great. Looking forward to see it flourishing. By the way is there anything that makes geraniums extremely happy, specific soil amendments or additives?

Wow!! I love the color on that one!! The dark veins really stand out! I've never heard of Dragon Heart before. I'll certainly keep an eye out at the nurseries!

This looks like it is a variety from G. psilostemon ? Does it get about 2 to 3 feet high with slightly fragrant flowers? If so you might want to make sure to deadhead as I had the species and it was starting to take over my garden.

I love my Dragon Heart. I bought a gallon pot locally last year. I like the way it trails among other plants. It looks good with my Black and Blue Salvia. When the Salvia isn't blooming some of the Dragon Heart blooms almost make it look like the Salvia has blooms.
