Thank you all!!! And thanks for all the thumbs. I don't know how many of you have ever made banners and had them posted. I've only made a few and only made this one in thoughts of Echinacea week. Only recently have I had time to be here at ATP. I was browsing around tonight and literally saw the banner change. And I thought, "wow, that looks familiar". A pleasant surprise.

And yes, Coconut Lime is a very hardy reliable Echinacea in my opinion. I've had it in my garden for at least 5 years now. Puts out a mass of flowers, nice for cutting, and then the cutting promotes more blooms later in the season.

@HoosierHarvester Great to know it is hardy and reliable. I must add this to my wanted list.

Jean, I was speaking towards DnD because he is in zone 5 as well. As for hardy in Florida, that's another question. Some of the newer Echinaceas have not been what I thought *winter* hardy here. But then some plants resent high heat coupled with excess moisture (rain) or humidity. Or just the excess rain and humidity. But if you still go for it, I hope it does very well for you.

I was looking at some of the other banners in the banners forum and saw that a lot of members posted the whole photo in the original message part. I hadn't originally thought of doing that, but here is this one:

How glorious is that? You should market it to some nursery that needs a good photo of it!

@HoosierHarvester I was thinking more about Arkansas rather than Florida. Beautiful photograph Thumbs up
