I am looking to find a source for the iris Snow Shoes. Only place I have found it in stock is C and T Patch in Colorado. Here is a link to the iris:

Thanks for info about them.

I have ordered from them too. Had a bit of a mix up with a couple of dwarf iris, but otherwise everything was good. They have a good selection of older iris, and ones others just don't carry (like Kid Gloves that is the first shot on the "Honoring" thread).

One word of warning with their catalog - they throw the arilbreds in with the bearded. So there are many arils in the TB section, and some will not grow in certain areas of the country.

I used them like three years ago and was happy with the product and communication. They have good prices too!

I can see why Aril's could possibly make it in with most bearded cause they look similar.

Arils have different growing requirements depending on if they are full aril or half or quarter arilbred. It is too humid in the south for the full arilbreds, and even the half and quarter need the drier areas of the garden to stay happy. I think it is nice when they are labelled as aril because the casual iris buyer may not know that those iris won't grow for them and be very disappointed with the poor growth.

That said, Greg is correct - they have great prices.

I have ordered from them in the past. Their rhizomes are not that big but everything grew. They sent 2 Rarer Than Rubies that turned out to be Evening Drama. I wrote to them and they sent me two Rarer Than Rubies with no fuss.
They have a nice website and have offered themselves as vendors for the AIS vouchers. I like how their website is arranged.

I ordered from them last year and everything grew nicely. I don't think any of them bloomed this past spring (maybe one of the SDB's), so I can't attest to the accuracy yet.
So far, I've never received a mislabeled iris (that I know of) from: Superstition, Napa, Bay View, Exline, Bluebird, Iris City, & Mid-America..
I have received mislabeled iris from: Schreiners, Blue J, and Iris Patch (out of business now). Schreiners is good about replacing anything that's mislabeled, even years down the road.

I got a couple from C & T this year as well. I would agree that they were small but they are growing just fine. They are in Colorado, thus the small size. I was happy with BlueJ and they sent 3 intros as a bonus for a rather small order. I'm suffering major losses with the Schreiners I planted this year with the dreaded rot. This coming season my major order will be with Hummingbird (I think). The 'Honoring' forum is killing my budget!

OT - Well, about the inheritance. That went south, along with just about everything else, with the 'tech crash' of 2000. We won't talk about leveraged options!! LOL!!

Sorry for the double-post -- I made a typo and went back to correct it, and posted again. Shrug!
