I put out clean lids from jams, and peanut butter. Fill them with beer and its happy hour for the slugs, they die of drunkenness because of the alcohol. 👌

Yes I have done that one as well. I have over 250 plants in my yard. That method was to hard to cover all the plants I have. and works well. They don't like to cross it.

Hummingbird, I used to use beer and it worked. Then my raccoons decided to start drinking it then batting the containers all over the yard.

How long does the spray work before needing to be re-applied ?

How many applications before the plant gets harmed from excess nitrogen ?
