Photo is an actual shot of autumn leaves at their peak colors. In this picture there are several maples, oaks, sassafras and even a couple of sycamores. There are also a couple of scrub willows at far right foreground with green leaves.
I am editing to add part of the actual picture the banner was taken from. The original was over 3200 pixels wide, but I had to crop & shrink it down to 1000 for the PC. It was taken on a country road across a field of winter wheat. This was back on October 22 when the leaves were at peak color. Notice the milkweed pods and Queen Anne's Lace in the fence row? Good for the butterflies!
One more picture from that scene. Big puffy clouds kept moving over the sunlight so this one was a little dark. Sunlight makes all the difference on autumn leaves.
