When I got this plant last year, it was decorated. Since it didn't hurt the leaves at all, I might do it again. Daggone cute, IMVHO!


I used to have some tiny presents on little sticks that were fun to stick in plants. Wrapped cubes of styrofoam with little bows, skewer stick through the bottom. Making more might be a fun kid project soon, I miss them now that you've reminded me to remember them. :+) ...and since plants are everywhere, there's no room for "regular decorations." LOL!

My houseplants have to multi-task - look good and add to the festivities!

So is your plant a "reindeer" philodendron?

Both of your holiday dressed up plants are so cute. I have never decorated the plants but the plants that I display for the Christmas I put them in Gold and silver pots.

Tiffany - I believe that particular cultivar morphs into reindeer philo sometimes, but only during the month of December!

I only dress up one plant outdoors typically the container of my Sago Palm.

This year, instead of bringing in my Plumeria Celadine, I will just cover it. With a freeze warning for tonight, started to cover it with my shade net and burlap, but it looks a big brown blob in the garden:


Then I remembered I bought this burlap ribbon and tiny ribbons which I intended to put on the Sago Palm container, so I decided, put some on that brown blob..so I think it is a bit better now plus adding some festive holiday spirit

We do not decorate for holidays, so nothing is done to our plants except for putting a dead moth on a bamboo. I have a picture, but maybe no one wants to see that. It is a very pretty moth, a Sweetheart Underwing. I was pretty thrilled when a child brought it to me, but I hope the next one I see is living.

Today, i dismantled this syngonium that was brought indoors for the winter. Im looking for my silk poinsettia to replace the. Mums .

Have changed it now to its Christmas get-up, just continuing the same ribbons already on my Plumeria.

Shady - love your syngonium 'poinsettius'

Purple - great idea to use air plants in holiday dishes. Brings a little tropic to the holiday

Tarev I cannot wait until my Sago Palms get that big. They will complete my tropical look on the patio. The pot is really pretty too.

I haven't done it lately, but I used to decorate my large Jade plant.
