I may have been one of the offenders here

. I do always add a signature to my images for web use as I have a macro to automatize that, but have never thought about that as also being an actual watermark. I thought that there was a clear difference between a signature and a watermark, but I now understand that this was an error in thinking on my part. I thought that a watermark always was the semi transparent stuff some people put straight across their images making them rather hard to view (and difficult to copy for image thieves) . My sincere apologizes to anyone who thought that my signature was offensive and of course feel free to remove my images.
