Hi Leon,..the Town is Athlone,.. which is in the County of Westmeath,..we are in the Midlands which is very flat and always floods however the water levels have risen beyond safety levels this past few years,..luckily my house is on high ground and never gets flooded but driving in the area is restricted badly when there are roads flooded with fast flowing water.

England is far worse at present and so is Norway the latter had houses swept away,..its fairly common these days in the USA and other countries,..climate changes i believe.
