H. nummularioides, small flowers, but lots of clusters of them, and a strong fragrance.

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

Oh, very nice!

Wax Plant (Hoya nummularioides) is one I grew a dozen or so years ago and I loved those very fragrant blooms!

We used to see shipments of this every fall. Wonderful species, but just does it once a year and then drops the peduncles!

I agree I'm surprised that a small cutting can bloom like that.

I had the cutting in a prop box when I got it. Miro with Basie plants says it's an easy bloomer. One of the reasons I got it. It is a thin leafed Hoya so shouldn't dry out. Get one!

End of December and it's still warm here in Florida. When I was walking around outside earlier I found a couple of Hoyas with buds and blooms.
