I personally don't care for applique flowers, but everyone is entitled to their own appreciation. In 2011 I had a seedling bloom that appeared to be an applique . After several years it turned into something quite different, 2nd photo from 2015.... ![]() ![]() |

Isn't it absolutely amazing how they can change? And that one is truly amazing -- I would never have guessed that the light green applique bloom in your first picture could turn into that gorgeous beauty! ![]() Betty |

Yes! That is amazing! That's why I always tell people to wait for at least 3 years to determine a bloom on a seedling. I've seen changes on mine, but not as drastic as yours, Sandi.
