Lovely blooms. You and Ken might not experience dormancy this season. DPS is the only one with buds for me. ©by Gigi Plumeria "Gardening is my favorite past time. Of course Ken's plants are all in his greenhouse or stored, so his circumstances are different. All my trees are in the ground and whereas 95% of them have lost their leaves, signifying dormancy, quite a few of them are now growing new leaves and inflos. It will be interesting to see what happens when we get a real cold snap. |

I guess you might get some of what's on its way to Mississippi. We will be in the low 60's tomorrow and apparently from midnight on, it will steadily drop. It will be in the 30's all day Sunday and it is predicted to be 17F brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr when I awaken Monday morning. Our lows are supposed to be in the mid 20's all week long, Tuesday-Friday. I appears that all my plumeria that are in the greenhouse and the solarium have lost all the leaves they are going to. A couple of the compact/dwarf ones did not seem to drop a leaf. It looks like most of those plants are growing fresh, new leaves now. drdawg (Ken Ramsey) - Tropical Plants & More http://www.tropicalplantsandmo... I don't have gray hair, I have wisdom-highlights. Here is a brand new inflo growing on 'Kathryn's Fuchsia Fantasy'. I lost 1/2 of a seed-pod yesterday. I guess I bumped it somehow. I taped the broken half to a cane support but I don't know whether the pod will continue to mature when broken. My guess is it won't. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() drdawg (Ken Ramsey) - Tropical Plants & More http://www.tropicalplantsandmo... I don't have gray hair, I have wisdom-highlights. oh wow, I'm sorry Ken. Can you tape it back to where it broke off like others do when the graf them Lucky Patrick |

There is really no practical way to do that without running the risk of damage to the remaining half. I have plenty of pods left intact. drdawg (Ken Ramsey) - Tropical Plants & More http://www.tropicalplantsandmo... I don't have gray hair, I have wisdom-highlights. I must be very wise. |

The pod will not mature once off the plant, in my experience. |

That was what I figured. Oh well, unless it begins to rot, I will just leave it taped to the cane. drdawg (Ken Ramsey) - Tropical Plants & More http://www.tropicalplantsandmo... I don't have gray hair, I have wisdom-highlights. I must be very wise. |

Sorry to hear that Ken but am pretty sure you will have plenty of seeds left. Each of the seed pods carry 20 to 50 seeds. ©by Gigi Plumeria "Gardening is my favorite past time. I hope there is a market for seeds then. I sure don't need more plants right now. ![]() drdawg (Ken Ramsey) - Tropical Plants & More http://www.tropicalplantsandmo... I don't have gray hair, I have wisdom-highlights. I must be very wise. |

You can count me in Ken, I'd be in line for those seeds. Just for the fact that the parent is doing wonderful things. ![]() Lucky Patrick |
