It does look like the seeds of "Dock" - Rumex. A couple that grow in Minnesota:

It's Curly dock (Rumex crispa), Reid. Very common in our area, especially in disturbed sites.
Glad to see you're out and about. There is a lot if interesting things out there, even in winter!
