Is it me, or does the last grouping of cultivars look extremely similar?

The ghio crosses would account for the increased ruffling.

Under My Spell has the darker falls of Iconic, and the more brownish red standards of Smoky Shadows, but they all do look a lot alike. Don't plant all three together. If you lose your tags you would be hard pressed to figure out which is which! That said, I still really like Under My Spell.

I like "Under My Spell," also. And, to me, it looks like its parents but with its petals freshly laundered and its hair done! :-)

I got Iconic and Latte this year, but Iconic is currently struggling to stay alive.

I think it may be a matter of cameras or light.. My picture of 'One Step Beyond' looks closer to Greg's photo.

They are really nice. I think Tasco likes working in these colors. Seems to have a quite a few of these darker ones with interesting beards. My One Step Beyond didn't bloom last summer. Some one, or some thing pulled it up in the late fall and I had to replant it. It's doing fine, but it stunted it from blooming last year. It should bloom this summer.
