This is not a giant cardón... don't know what exactly to call it, but the plant looks quite different from the other photo

and all the plants that I've seen. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

I'm no kind of expert but I was looking at The Desert Botanical Garden Phoenix searchable database with photos.

Here is the page for Pachycereus pringlei; most of the images are of smaller plants :

The only large specimen of P. pringlei is this one:

If it's any kind of Pachycereus here is the list they have...anyone have time to look through the images one by one?

The photo with the flowers is a Senita aka lophocereus schottii (or pachycereus schottii these days, I think).
