My IBs start around mid April here. The second week of May I start getting TBs which last for about a month. The Dutch bloomed this year at the same time as the TBs. They had been dwindling and were happy (tulips were too) when I decided to feed them the same stuff as my TBs. Next year will be my first with dwarves Hurray! I already want more.

iciris said:I'll check the computer tomorrow. The last few years I've tried to take pictures everyday during bloomtime. I think Cherry Blossom Song bloomed in June a few years ago. This year CBS bloomed around mid May. CBS and I were much happier with it blooming in May.

Sorry this is going to have to wait.

We bought a new computer yesterday so we took the external hard drive in to get it changed back to windows. We were given a two to three week window since there is so many pictures on both hard drives.

My bloom season starts with a couple blooming in February and last until June. Then a few confused ones, or brave rebloomers may open up in the weeks (or months) that follow.

My season is late March to late May. Wish we had the long seasons like you all seem to have out west. Usually my dwarfs start first, but the other medians bloom along with the TB's. The LA's overlap the TB's. My last to bloom are the Japanese in late May, maybe into early June if the weather doesn't get too hot.

I fear that my resolve to limit purchases next year to 20 rhizomes may have been a tad optimistic... Hilarious!

Mika, could you please tell me if Kiss the Princess, Salem Gypsy or More Please made the new intros? I would be forever grateful! Can you tell I'm not a patient person??

Liz, I can see Kiss the Princess and More Please (both Lovey dubby ) but I don't see Salem Gypsy. Last year I asked about an iris that wasn't in the catalogue and was sent it as a bonus (although it wasn't a new intro). But I was also sent several new introductions as bonuses. So it might be worth asking when you place your order.

(Then, you may recall, they all started blooming here in July and August, amazing!) Smiling
