This is not one of my favorite critters, but was too cute in the garden setting not to photograph.

I feel the same way Fleur. I'm glad you took the photo though. It makes a beautiful banner.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

What a delightful photo! I just love the composition, the tinge of purple, the covering of the apple with the squirrel showing how important food is in the winter. Hurray! Thank You!

We have no squirrels here, so we find them cute and do not consider them a garden enemy (like rabbits grrrr)

What a warm response on my banner on this cold winter day. Thank you for the responses, thumbs up, and generous acorns. To Whitebeard's comment about the photo size. It took 31 slow moving takes to close in on the rascal, but it was so enthralled with the apple, it didn't notice me closing in. They all came out well, but here is the photo from which I cropped to fit the banner requirements.

Love this one I tip my hat to you.
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...
