Oval Leaf
Antelope Horns - A. asperula **

** Notoriously hard to grow - I have tried before - this is 3rd or 4th time

[I have 9 types of milkweed that are tender and will start in February. Would give anything to get some Meads. It does grow here, but is threatened.]

I planted 3 Elderberry cuttings:

Bob Gordon
Wyldewood I
Adams

Other seeds started:

Lemon
Asian Pear
Red Banana - likely sterile but what the heck Green Grin!

11 MedJool Dates - 6 in soil, 5 in wet paper towel

I've also just sown a. purpurascens and should have done it sooner...my excuse being that it was too cold to want to go outside...LOL...which, of course would have suited the milkweed just fine. I have a couple more varieties to sow tomorrow...if it's not pouring out there....

Mine are all indoors as I do not do much milk jug planting. I just never got into it. Right now would be a great time to do some.

I have no indoors space, no basement and not a lot of milk jugs....LOL....what I do have is quite a few clear plastic storage bins left over from my nursery that I used for cuttings, when we moved they were packed with stuff and now they're being used as mini greenhouses ...my soil filled pots go in there. The bins are now quite brittle, but still work for my purposes. I had not intended to do wintersowing, but realized that I did need to get stuff going rather than waiting.....and I saw all that you guys were already doing and it spurred me to get off my tush and do it....since I live now where we do actually have a Winter, I need to get stuff to size sooner.

My seedings are not as ambitious as yours, but I'm working on it!

Wishing us all luck.....
