Here is an update on my seedlings. Still growing nicely. The oldest ones are from November 2015. I did pinch one of the to leggy ones to see if it will branch. It is only growing up, and no branches yet. I only did one first. If it is working I do some more.

Willeke, Your seedlings are looking tremendous. Have they ever grown. When time to put outside and in their own little pots, they will put on even more.

Sometimes as seedlings they may look tall, but many reach a point and will start to fatten up in girth. Usually it is when they have 6 true leaves and terminal growth point looks like it is shooting to the sky. These are the ones that will become leggy.

So wonderful. Looks nice outside there for you. Hope your summer starts early for you.

The ones that are so leggy are my first ones. That I kept in the propagator to long. They are long and still very thin. The others are already starten to fatten nicely. One of these days my greenhouse will be ready with the heating. Than I can repot most of them, and put them there. Than I can also cut the taproot.

Willeke, your plants don't look like they went through any dormancy whatsoever. My plant's leaves look so "ratty" compared to yours. It does appear that mine have stopped losing leaves and have begun to grow new ones though.

Only some did get a few brownish leaves, but most of them did stay very nice and growing all winter. They are really shooting out now. Also coloring up nicely now that the sun is out there more. I hop yours will also turn out better now that the days are getting longer Ken. Really strange that your seedlings did loose a lot of leaves.

I don't think it is strange at all.
Mine had lost most of their leaves too over the Winter, exactly as the Mother plants always do here in NJ inside. My Adeniums (and Pachypodiums) always drop their leaves in the Fall, why shouldn't the seedlings do the same?
Ken, mine are starting to green out at the tips this week! They will look just fine in a couple of months.

I also think that my inadvertent spraying of the alcohol/409/water solution on the leaves back in early January had something to do with the leaf-discoloration and loss. I also found out that my Plumeria leaves reacted badly to that solution. I experimented with two of those plants' leaves, and every one of the mature leaves turned a nasty color and ultimately dropped. I learned a valuable lesson.
