Frilly I have not seen this book, but from the reviews it should do very well for you since you live in MO.
I don't think it would work for some one living in the valley areas of the Pacific Northwest.
A quote from a review by pete pinette:
"he brings a smile to my lips when he refers to Missouri (or was it Oklahoma?) as one of the "wetter" areas where a plant could grow. Taken as a marker, this should tell the reader of the intended climates for the book".
Some of the plants in the book might work in the Pacific Northwest, but I think most are geared towards cold climates that a much drier than we get in the western valleys of Oregon.
If I lived where you live I would definitely buy this book. Let us know if you get it and what you think of it.
