Bury the Remote Temperature Sensor

To get an idea of ground temperatures, bury the remote sensor of a thermometer.

I wish 🌠 they would come out with an exact meter for watering plants. I have tried some in the past, but they have failed.

A moisture meter?
I have not tried a moisture meter, but I guess it might be useful too.
