Almost 8 p.m here in Omaha, it is 70 degrees. Today it was 75. Unreal! I got out
and did some yard work like picking up tree branch debris and dog poo. It was
nice being out. Tomorrow it is suppose to be 76, then real strong thunder
storms in the late afternoon and evening. I had a great day, I was going to get
a few groceries and on a whim went to the beauty shop without a appointment
and got my hair cut, a good 4 inches at least, feels great. Tomorrow is my 4th day
in a row off after working 10, then Tuesday I go back to work and start my 10
days in a row cycle, but then I get 5 days off, as I tacked on a vacation day, I have
3 weeks due and this burns up 1, I might just keep tacking them on to my 4
days off to become 5, that is almost like a vacation!

It is invigorating to see the temps go up, isn't it? We are supposed to be in the high 60's/low 70's this week with a lot of rain Wednesday and Thursday. Makes me want to get out this evening and do some cleanup work in the garden.

Congrats on your haircut! Those impulsive actions help us get out of the ruts we stick ourselves in. I was shopping with my two daughters about a month ago and they practically dragged me to the beauty shop saying I needed a new hairstyle. Well, I do like my new style even though it takes a little longer to fix in the mornings.

I can't imagine working 10 days in a row! I would probably burn the vacation time just like you said... tack it onto those days off:)

David, at least they didn't say you need to shave it all off, just a new style. Rolling on the floor laughing
