|It might be common mullein, verbascum thapsus. If it is, it's pretty but invasive if you let it seed. |

They don't seem to reseed much here for some reason. I've only seen 5 total on a 360 acre farm since I've been looking for it.

|Found these in a flower bed shortly after moving to North Carolina; a friend said '' let it flower before you do anything''. It had those yellow flowers on it before we dug it up.|
Have found out some seeds escaped us ... the plant will come up one year and not flower -- the following year ... it gets tall and flowers.
Don't have the space you do -- so, the have to go.
This isn't a dress-rehearsal ~
