Every time you eat eggs, crush the shells and spread around sensitive plants; slugs and snails will not cross the egg shell barrier.

i have a ten gallon tank with hood and light. will the hood light be good enough for plants and the slots in the hood light on part of the hood, will that be enough? i could remove the flip up access, but is that too much air?

Ive used a ten gallon tank with hood and lights. Don't remove the flip up access unless you see a lot oc condensation....like if you can't see your plants for the fog :)
