This sport from 'Shade Master' was new in my garden summer 2005. It grew rather slowly and I moved it at least twice before settling on its current location. It's the parent of Daily #65, 'Summer Music', but it is smaller and looks quite different except for the shape of the leaf and the pattern of variegation. It is also the parent of 'Dance With Me' and grandparent of 'Last Dance'. In fact it has spawned a host of reasonably well known hostas Please feel free to post your pictures of this hosta.

May 26 - the emerging leaf centres have a slight yellow colour

July 25 - blooming and leaf centres have become quite white

Sept. 21 - some slug damage, but in general it held up fairly well.
