Why they don't sell the plants in full sun with all of their gorgeous natural colors is a mystery to me. Those are so much prettier than paint. I've bought over 100 "tiny green things" and have seen at least 90 of them turn the most amazing colors, from pink to red, blue, gray, purple, orange, brown, chartreuse/yellow, and various variegations. Let's see some real colors, plant'sters!

I've seen the painted cacti lately here too and then I see them on the clearance rack, since no one bought them. I love the way the cooler weather changes the succulents naturally, and love all these posted pics. Here's a few of mine to add to the collection here.

I was taking some winter-color pics today. Since I have a little greenhouse now, I've been keeping plants that live in there out most of the time, except on the nights when protection is needed. I don't take the in-house plants out temporarily because if ants get in one of those, the GH is too full to add ONE MORE POT. LOL!

Mixed:

Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi. What a wild plant! All of this came from a single individual!

K. luciae and Euphorbia tirucalli:

K. marnieriana on L, fedt. on R.
