Welcome back Sherry! Thanks to you and your post on Liz's thread, I finally took out the credit card late last last. I placed another order with Napa after last minute back out of Shady Spot. Both sites are awesome!

I had a whole shopping cart full of Burseens, thanks to a enabler whose name rhymes with Heslie.It was Sherry though who mention the Mego's at Napa though. I wanted to add on. I bought two Mego irises and one Burseen

Her irises look amazing, I will probably add more in May when she posts more.

If you don't order from the Shady Spot, are you going to kick yourself in September/October?

I suspect hybridized by Kevin Vaughn who grew up in New England, but living in MS when that iris was created.

Oh, but my Shady Spot Shopping Cart (and all those ordered off the website by email) fully made up for your tiny order Gabe. And I only got iris from ONE hybridizer! (I must have been enabled by the mystery enabler too.... ) If I had looked at the rest of the site who knows what would have happened! I really do want the LA When Pigs Fly so......

I haven't even SEEN the LA When Pigs Fly, but I MUST MUST MUST get it! Sometimes the name alone makes a plant a 'must have'. I feel the same about 'Why Cows Gossip'. Yes, perhaps I am sectionable....

Ha Mika! The name really put it over the top as a must have for me, but it is also a nice looking LA. Nice and dainty for a pig!

Rocky Top catalog came so I can start on order for the club auction. I actually have started with 5 SDBs for the auction from Winterberry.

Thanks Jan. I am a regular customer of Barry Blyth and my sister lives a couple of streets away from him. Unfortunately they don't know each other. Barry offers some beautiful international irises but it takes time to become available to the public. By then, I am viewing the next generations on ATP and wishing I had those too.
