Nice combos there! I am just using the same ones (NOIDS) that I had last year. I do have seeds for new ones , but it is a bit late for this year. |
JoAnn.. I think you can do your collages with google |

Allison I will look into that. I have PS Elements which allows collages but there doesnt seem to be any choice for arranging. All chosen images are scattered. I dont want to manually rotate all so they line up. |
Not sure if this will allow you to move them or its just an auto thing.. haven't played with it yet |

Allison, I am still fuming over loosing Picasa. Why did they fix what wasn't broken ? Just stupid. Google Photo sucks. |
I guess because it's integrated with our phone apps.. I am sure that program wouldn't work.. did you still have the software from years ago?.. maybe it will still work?.. I haven't used it in years |

No, My geek was here trying to figure out why my printer wouldn't print images. We uninstalled Picasa. When we went to reinstall it,Picasa gave me the bad news.It is now Google Photo. Went to the internet and every Picasa item sent me to the same place. Warning. If you have Picasa installed,"never uninstall it " |

Nice coleus finds. I haven't seen but the same five or six varieties over and over at local garden shops. Lowe's had a few larger containers of different varieties (one was the Electric lime green shown above) with higher prices, but I like the four inch pots so I can stick them in my containers. One local nursery had some different varieties but they all looked to have a white film on them (mold), so I stayed clear. Usually coleus are the first plants I see in the annuals each year at the garden centers. Luckily many of mine didn't freeze and I saved lots of cuttings. By the way I have Picasa, and when I got my new computer I had to have my Geek son come and install Free Picasa again, I know he had to do some kind of fancy finagling to get it again. That was around January. But thanks for the advice, I love Picasa. New larger pot I got at Lowe's, no idea what name is ![]() This is cut backs from last year, this was a month ago. Looks really great now. ![]() |
Could be either Beckwith gem or Walter something.. Muller maybe will look it up |
Ah Walter turner.. close Coleus (Coleus scutellarioides 'Beckwith's Gem') Coleus (Coleus scutellarioides 'Walter Turner') |

I vote for Beckwiths Gem. Turner doesnt have the wide margins on the lewves. I love Beckwiths Gem and use it often. |
Well just got another that looks close from parks seed![]() ![]() ![]() |

Allison I have grown Wall Street. It is a stunner. Gives the same affect as Sedona but better for me. I never had much luck with Sedona. This is Piper and Wall street ![]() I love Rodeo Drive. Maybe next year. |

I got some from an eBay seller that included some new to me: Olympic Torch, Bonnie Gold, Dark Red Ruffles and Bright Ruffles. Also included Mariposa and Meandering Linda which I've grown before. If anyone is interested in some for a good price, here is the seller I bought from: http://www.ebay.com/itm/30-col... Mine were really nice plugs. About 3" tall and well packed. Also getting Dutch Mill Drive from another source. Haven't started to see many at the nurseries yet, but hopefully will find a few there too. I started out the winter with about 8 flats of cuttings, but ended up with more like 5. Was a bad Mom and let some get too dry. Still had all I need, but took some cuttings from the tall cuttings and have a couple new flats rooting in the driveway. |
I have had a massive Sedona in the past.. surprised to hear it didn't do well for you JoAnn.. that is a nice price Susan.. thank you |
