We seem to have some confusion on just what 'Granada' should look like.
Everyone put on your sleuth hats and lets get to the bottom of this mystery. Hurray!
Here is what Semper-liste has for this semp:
http://sempervivum-liste.de/kultivare?field_zis_value=All&ti...
Velvet texture in all seasons.

In our database it looks like we have two different types. One type with velvet and the others look to have smooth leaves. Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Granada')

@JungleShadows do you have a written description of this semp?

I found 4 photos of my Granada. The first was taken 2014, May 8 and I think may have come from someone on this forum. it's fun to see how it has grown in 2 years. I have more now than is shown in the bottom photo.

Thank you for posting Susan.

Lynn I agree with you there seems to be a discrepancy on this one...Isn't it true that you won't have watermarks on a fuzzy type semp? And the version I have of this is fuzzy, which matches what Sempervivum liste says...Thinking the others are incorrect (just my opinion) I tip my hat to you.
Here is what mine looks like

Mine definitely appears to be the wrong one. Feel free to delete my pictures from the database.

Thanks Lynn and Greg. I deleted one of my photos above and it looks like you better delete my ones from the database too. I'mhoping that by the end of summer I have all my NOIDs weeded out.

I don't want to do anything until we hear from Kevin. He should know this one. So don't get in a hurry.

I'm always glad when someone points out one I have ID'ed incorrectly. I am getting close to the point where I am sharing them and want to have them have the right names. From looking at how much they can change and look different it's easy to see how the wrong ones start getting circulated.

Susan that really is the point of this in my opinion - even though I can get peevish when I am told I have to wrong plant, I do understand the value of a group of us (on ATP) trying to keep these correctly named, a huge challenge with all the plants being sold, and often by people that just want to make a sale not caring if the cultivar name is correct. For me I usually make a question mark on the label, Springcolor told me she turns her labels upside down = wouldn't work for me because I move my labels for photo ops and it would be easy for me to turn it upside down accidentally Shrug! Rolling on the floor laughing But how ever something works to keep the NOIDs or questionable's marked to keep an eye on them is good!!! And if more of us selling our personal stock keep track, this will help so much! We could have a group of us knowing we have the right plant. Also here at ATP we are so fortunate to have Kevin's expertise in helping ID or NOID something - this is again so important and I'm appreciative that I came to love these plants at a time when there are others who are committed to keeping the names right! AND - yes don't be quick to NOID something since we know they do go through color and growth changes based on local environments! Just my humble! I tip my hat to you.
I am always so thankful that there are people on here willing to say "OK, guess this isn't the right plant" or Lynn being able to say "hey I think that is wrong" cause that takes some guts! Lovey dubby Rolling on the floor laughing

It is always uncomfortably for me to questions a plant. I am always afraid I might offend some one. I sure don't want to do that. You all are like the best ever plant family, EVER!

And it is some times fun to track down the real semp. When we get this one figured out I will add a written description of the plant to the database entry, then send the incorrect photos to the Generic sempervivum entry. That way we won't lose the photos in the threads.

Wouldn't it be helpful to have some sort of designation even in the generic area that says "often mistaken for " or "looks like" I wounder if that would be possible? It is often helpful to compare the mistaken id to the real thing. I am not sure how that could be done ... just saying......

Can the one who moves it to the generic classification do that?

Does @JungleShadows have any further description information on this one? If mine is a NOID I'd like to mark it as such. Thanks!
