This daffodil was hybridised by my father in the 70's. We have kept it going in the family but I just wonder if anyone ever grew it commercially?

Welcome to ATP! Welcome!

What a great legacy to have in your family! I hope you can keep it going forever. Have you shared bulbs with others to insure that your daffodil is not lost because of some unforeseen catastrophe?

Deenavee is listed in the American Daffodil Society data bank but I don't think it was ever commercially sold. I think I found the photo in the ATP database. It is lovely. If you ever decide to share, I think a lot of people will be standing in line to get a bulb (including me Smiling )

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

Hi Daisy

I was delighted to receive your response, so glad that someone has taken an interest! I wish I had discovered the website years ago! I shall certainly do my best to pass on the legacy my father left me. If you happen to have any useful tips about maintaining daffodil bulb quality I would appreciate it.

Best wishes
