I bought this yesterday at a large garden center. It had a tag that said "Tropical". LOL Do any of you Alo peeps know the name of this one? Had to get it because I don't have this one. Green Grin!

What a great nursery. It looks like the red stemmed Alocasia x portora. There is a new introduction, Upright Elephant Ear (Alocasia Megalodon™) , supposedly a sport of portora.

Seems like a bargain for a plant that size. Are you going to keep it potted?

Yes, I will. I had originally planned to plant it in the ground, but I planted something else in that spot.......my honeysuckle I had to move from its previous "home". I'd have had to dig it up anyway, so a ginormous pot will be the new abode.
