I ordered Old Friends from the Rice's Throughbred Garden the year it was introduced, it most certainly will always be in my garden. I like that the scapes are tall, sturdy and well branched with a very good budcount. The flowers are so beautiful with a polychrome appearance in coloration along with being 6.5 inches in size they make a lovely display.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!

I'm sorry....

I got confused by the topic, and thought this was a discussion started by James and Peter......about me Rolling on the floor laughing

I may be old, but there is no confusion concerning this cultivar! Just look at this picture:

Who wouldn't want this beauty in their garden??
