One of my absolute favorites! Flower is attractive and consistent in form.
In 2015 it bloomed, rebloomed, then rebloomed again! Here in Northern Ky rebloom is rare and a second rebloom is nearly unheard of.
Fertile both ways. I look forward to seeing offspring and seeing if they inherit the instant rebloom.
Love what you teach and teach what you love!

I added Prickly Sensation to my gardens last year. I can't wait to see how well it does here.

Prickly Sensation is a good and hardy plant. I received it from the hybridizer Bill Maryott 2 years ago and it has survived one very severe winter in southern Kentucky and the mild one of 2015. Prickly Sensation bloomed beautifully both years. It is an average increaser and I could divide it this year if I desired to. Prickly Sensation is consistent in color and form, it does not hang up when it blooms.

I too got this from Bill Maryott two years ago. I'm not usually a fan of orange/peach flowers but I like this one. It grows well and the blooms have always been perfect.

I received Prickly Sensation in the late summer of 2015. This is my second growing season with PS.

So far, it is one of my earliest bloomer, which isn't consistent with the registered midseason (not a bad thing).

It doesn't quite reach the 28 inches as registered. The blooms consistently open up and the plant habitat is nice.

This year, I have started the season with 4 scapes. I will have to see if it gives me any reblooms.
