Edited to add:
Identified as Hackberry.
At the local swap I received several succulent leaves and cuttings; they were in a Baggie full of potting soil. Several of one type of seedling sprouted from the soil. Before I destroy the seedlings, can anyone tell me what they might be?

Hackberry would certainly fit those seed leaves.
