First time blooming in my garden.

And Siloam Double Classic (different clump than the single form that bloomed yesterday). Seems like this one consistently blooms early for everyone.

Lovely blooms Regina, and I know you enjoyed them immensely seeing
them for the first time.

Anna, lovely photo of Tar and Feathers. Very nice.

Hemerocallis middendorffii This one is always the very first daylily to bloom in my zone 5 garden. Very, very early. Last year's first bloom was May 10, so we are about a week ahead this year.

Mine always is the first to bloom too Susan, although I think this year it may be a bit later because of the cold weather.

From yesterday. I'm thrilled with the flower already and can't wait to see it once it is established.

I was lucky enough to pick-up my order from Jamie Gossard when he came to Indianapolis last week. He brought the plants in pots and with scapes intact! Should have a bloom on EMERALD FANGS later this week.

Well, I think this is actually a new NOID, but the label says 'David Kirchhoff', it was a gift.

This is the first bloom ever for this plant in my garden, it is also a beautiful NOID

Orangutan is already sending up rebloom scapes; the first ones aren't even finished! That's always a pleasant surprise!

Cute image of Orangutan. Smiling Nice patterns, reds...Dancing Summerbird, Heaven's Declaring... it is so good to see everyone's blooms. Gives hope to those of us in the north where the daylilies are still only 3 - 4" tall.

This is a NOID poly that I think is Quad Quiddity. I'd appreciate comments from those that have seen it in bloom. It's early, 5.5", 16" scape. QQ is registered as a 26" scape but I've noticed several short scapes in this very early part of the season.

Your red noid Seedfork is definitely not David Kirchoff. It looks very familiar to me but can't think of the name of the daylily it looks like.

I'm so glad you mentioned that, it explains why I haven't heard from him! I forgot there was something going on and I sent my order in about two weeks ago and I didn't hear back from him. I was getting worried what might have happened to the order. It sounds like I'll probably have to wait a little longer to get my daylilies from him since I'm sure he's trying to get caught up after an out of state trip. Bummer. I'm just hoping, though, that they come in time to establish themselves enough to put out some blooms this season. Smiling

Do you have any approximate stats on it? Is it possibly Mississippi Red Dragon?

Yes, I believe he went straight from Indy to the Can-Am meeting. He should be back in the US today or tomorrow so you could call if you are really worried.
