Clint, do you do any special fertilizer or soil prep?

I use bone meal and worm castings. I planted this one at the base of a snowball bush. They seem to love growing up those.

I don't know why I never thought about wormcastings although I add that to other plants. Do you add the bone meal at the bottom of the hole or mix it in?

I mix it in. I also put composted cow manure. I forgot that.

I might start replanting some of my anemic ones like that. Thanks for sharing
