Last year Gerald Hohls surprised me with wonderful, fat plants and this year he did even better Thumbs up

I ordered SF's from several of his newest intro's and he sent me 3, 4, 5 and even an clump of 8 fans of each!! Lovey dubby
His seedlings the same (and more!): instead of SF's I received 4, 5 and a clump of 10.. Hurray!

The other ones he gave me 2 for the price of ... 1/2 a SF!!
Plús bonusses! (one of which is an 2015 intro!! ) Thank You!

So instead of the ordered 21 fans I now have a total of 83!!! Sticking tongue out Sticking tongue out

Gotta love this man! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

She is a beauty. I love the big white paws in the photo! Is that the average size of a female Maine Coon?

Mayo,
Your kitty is just gorgeous! I bet they are fun to have as helpers!

We lost our beloved pet Persian earlier this week. We have been heartbroken Sad She lived to be 15 years and 10 months, so I take comfort in knowing she had a long wonderful life. We didn't allow her to roam outside much, but she loved to sit on the deck and look out at the garden.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved pets. It's tough losing them because they are a part of the family. Only pet owners understand that. Group hug Group hug Group hug

I made the mistake of getting three kittens very close in age. That was in 1998, and I just had to go through having them pass away over the course of last 18 months. I also had one of my dogs, Cody, die during that same time. Not a good idea to have all your animals too close in age. I don't have any cats right now, having just had little Pansy die a short while ago. My three kitty girls were Poppy, Pansy and Tulip. I have the two dogs in my avatar, Monty and Wylie, left from my six companions.

Cindy - I lost both of my previous pets within 3 months. They were not that close in age but were not young animals. One we knew had limited time. The other had cancer and we did not know. When they did exploratory surgery, found the cancer, called to see if we wanted to wake him up to say goodbye, I was devastated and said no, put him to sleep. I think losing both so close hit me very hard. But it was worse not having any animals, so I started going to the humane shelter and found a dog, and then 3 months later decided on another cat. It really helped me. We keep our pets until they leave us, so they are like our children. Most of our pets we've had at least 10 years. Some much longer. My favorite cat we had 19 years. I got her as a kitten. She has a very big place in my heart and my extended family's heart.

I have come to the conclusion that I will always have a pet. Life is so much better with a pet companion. And I have a husband still with me and 3 kids, grandchildren, and lots of friends. But a pet is in a totally different category. They are earth Angels. That's what I call them.

I think you should consider getting another Earth Angel. Smiling

Becky, if the move we are planning next year does happen, I then think I will get a dog. We will have more room then and not a whole yard full of daylilies. I think by then I will be ready for a pet again.
