Calliandra haematocephala is the only species of the genus in Florida with few locations, if it was growing wild then it appears to be a little to the north of the area shown.

Sorry, I got lazy with the description on this one. I am often in the woods but this fuzzy-flowered fellow was a cultivated plant in the Fountain of Youth park. I don't have good pics of the leaves at all, realized in retrospect. And what a beautiful name, like a mythological goddess.
