Irises forum: Is there a special name for irises with several colors blending across the falls

I love irises! You could say I have "Iris Virus" ! But my favorite ones always seem to be the ones with several colors blended through the falls. I was wondering if there is a generalized name for this type of iris? I call them rainbow blends. What do you call them? The pictures below are examples of what I'm talking about.

I see the category for Blended iris in our database. I looked up the description and it said '2 or more colors blended together.'
