Since Saturday, starting around 2pm, TS Bonnie started raining on us here in the Low Country. As of now, almost 9am Sunday we've received over 2½ inches and it's still coming down .. pretty hard at the moment.

How's everyone else faring in the Carolinas?

I am in the midlands and we have only had .5 over night. Weather channel has us forcasted for 3-5 inches. How much are you expecting?

My digital rain gauge is up to 3¾ - the weather guys said we can possibly get up to 5 inches! I hope that doesn't happen .. at the moment it is slowing down considerably and it looks like the sun is trying to come out. I hear thunder in the distance and we are under a flash flood warning. Once this last cell passes I think we'll be in the clear for awhile and hopefully the standing water will recede. I just did a walkabout in the garden with the umbrella and except for a few potted plants which aren't draining, everything else seems to be doing great.

Bonnie was my grandmother's name. She liked to be seen when she walked into a room, always dressed as if she was going somewhere, but never did any harm. Stay dry my friends.

Cheryl @ShadyGreenTHumb, Texas in a mess. Hope all is well in your area.

Anne, we went out to my sisters in the country, it was hit and miss all the way there and back. The sun keeps peeking through and it feels like a rain forest!! Hope you don't get flooded. Ridgeland is a mess.

It stopped for awhile this afternoon but started back up again about 2 hours ago .. we're now up to over 4 inches! The rain is suppose to continue off and on for the next 4 days.

Dang Cheryl! Hope things start to dry out for you too!
