This picture was tagged "Blue Thunder" in the Hibiscus show where it was taken but it was mislabeled. Finally it was changed to its correct name, Stormy Blue. Here's a link to the webpage of this AmHS show http://tropicalhibiscus.com/2016Sunset/2016Sunset.html

Not yet correct. It's Stormy Blue without the prefix Moorea.

I can't find any record of Stormy Blue as a registered cv name. That's why I assumed it had to be Moorea Stormy Blue. Is it new or unregistered?

It's an hybrid by Sonny Stollings. He hasn't registered this one yet aswell several others that are in circulation. Just two or three persons have it. It's a weak plant so maybe it won't last too much and it will go to Hibiscus Heaven as many old cvs did.
