I have two daylilys with similar blooms that have lost their name tags. One I believe to be "Blonde is Beautiful" and the other to be "Sun King"(both are in my inventory and on line photos are consistent with those IDs) . Both are yellow blooms. One seems to have a slightly larger and paler bloom than the other. The richer colored one has no different colored throat. The paler one has a slight green throat. Can some of the daylily experts help ID which is which?

Plants Admin are those entries in our database...

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sun King')
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Blonde is Beautiful')

'Sun King' is listed as 'gold yellow self with gold throat'
'Blonde Is Beautiful' is listed as 'creamy lemon yellow self with green throat'.

Both database entries include photo you can use to compare against as well. Hope this helps.

Here is a photo of 'Blonde is Beautiful' taken back in May in my garden. I don't think it is blooming now, but I think it is about ready to re-bloom soon and I'll hopefully get other photos. Sorry I don't grow 'Sun King'.
You can definitely see the green throat on 'Blonde is Beautiful'.
