Here is one of my favorites. Sedum spathulifolium, growing on a rock formation with a slight depression. These will grow just about anywhere. : )![]() |

Hi Lynn! Your cubit is great ![]() Patti ![]() |
Joanne, what a great idea. I have seen the wreaths before, but never a hanging planter like that. Love that picture. Could you post that on the Sempervivum Chat for people to see. It's a great way for them to learn another way to use their semps. Do you have any other pictures of how you use them? Do you have Sedum pictures. I would be very interested in seeing how you use them. What a great way to be able to observe the wonderful blooms up close. Have you ever taken a picture of the bloom up close? It is really cool to look at them on the computer and see the detail of the tiny blooms. : ) |

Your bowl is great! I love the colors. I bought the cement leaf at a garden show last spring and placed the wreath on top. |

Pattie, those are beautiful, what gorgeous color. We got the same freeze here, 10 degrees. I was just out working in the yard yesterday, and all of mine including the babies I planted the end of Oct made it. Not one loss. I have been out every few days to replant the ones that heaved out of the ground. The Blue Jays didn't help either. They kept moving some of them around the bed. : ( I think all is well now and the birds seem to be tiring of their bowling cames. |

My chickens where doing the samething with some of my babies, We finished the new chicken pen last week so now I can focus on the damage that they did while they where allowed to run free! I had bird netting on most things but I am not sure it worked completely? I will be assessing the damage today. Patti |
Good luck. : ) |

Well, it wasn't as bad as I first thought. Those things are pretty hardy. I have a lot of the small babies hiding under leaves for protection! I think they will all perk up as the weather changes. Patti |
That's what mine did. Aren't they great, hardy little plants. I really love them. |

Hi Lynn, I just checked out you database and I like it alot. Do you have all of those growing at your house? Great pictures did you take them? I love it, great job ![]() |
I did take all of the pictures. All of those are growing here on my place. I have quite a few others that I don't know the names of or the pictures are all blurry so I didn't post them. I will do them when I get better pictures. Thank you so much Patti. I thought I would never get the database thing worked out. Many thanks to threegardeners huge capacity for patience. I finally understood what she was telling me to do. |

I have a blue tinted one of sedum. I may have that too. Don't know all their names. Charleen, adding to your post 9/5/2010. Does it look like this one? This is called S. 'Blue Carpet'. RRM ![]() |
It might be called Blue Spruce. I have some of that also. It grows in the same manner as Angelina. What other kinds do you have Charleen? |
