I've attached a pic of a plant seen at the St. Louis zoo. What is it?

Welcome! to NGA

Its a Hosta. This time of year, most nurseries and big box stores carry them.

Hosta, I agree. The yellow with green could be Island Breeze, Rainforest Sunrise, Remember Me...or any number of similar yellow leaves with green edges. All Hosta are beautiful. Any good quality nursery/plant store should stock Hosta in your area.

@Rray Welcome! Howdy! Where in Texas are you? Hosta needs shade in Texas and also a chill period. Depends on your area how well they will do. Have a joy filled week!
I prefer to walk in the light, I prefer a world where people want to be kind and bless each other, I prefer a God who loves and shares so much that he gave up his only Son for me. I prefer to choose the God of Abraham. Let there be peace and let it begin with me.
