This plant is also called Incense Bush or Sweet Almond Bush, referring to the intense fragrance of the white blooms. Hardy in zones 8a to 11 and is often evergreen in mild winters...At maturity, the plant grows 6' to 12' with long, arching branches...Bloom begins in late spring and continues throughout the season often through October. Once established, the Almond Verbena is drought-tolerant and excellent in a xeric setting and is a critical plant for any Butterfly Garden.
