help identify small tree/bush

a friend has this bush. he was told it was a brugmansia. It doesn't look like any one I've ever seen.
Is anyone familiar with this shrub?

That is Thevetia peruviana, also known as Yellow Oleander or Lucky Nut. All parts are poisonous.
