I for the life of me, cannot find information in your database on this plant. What is it? Is it native to Illinois or considered invasive?

|I'm in PA z6 and it's very invasive for me...I like it but it needs to be where it can spread on it's own, in my opinion...not in a bed with other plants. |
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

|You're so right, Ronnie. For 20 years I had it contained to one spot but it escaped last year. Getting ALL the roots out is a good fall job, not for the heat of summer.|
