Very, very nice all! This is a blast perusing all your works of art. Please feel free to critique ALL of mine, it can only help my skills and others too that want to learn new things.

The answer to the question: not paintings , but I can see how they might be. I do not have the artistic talent to paint , but I think I must be influenced by post cards Smiling

Dear @GoatDriver,
You are good. I mean really, really good. I LOVE your photos. And I could probably learn a lot from you - if only I understood what you were talking about. I tried "layers" once. It almost made my head explode. I've never ventured there again because it was like: Beyond This Point There Be Dragons. But I appreciated the lesson. Problem is that by the time I got to the end of your tutorial, I'd forgotten the beginning. Please understand: this is not your fault! I've looked at YouTube videos, I've bought the books (even the "Dummies" one confused me). I've come to accept the fact that, at my age, comprehending this new technology is about as likely as me becoming a Ninja Warrior. Not going to happen. And that's okay.
I love to take photographs. Many of them don't turn out and I don't know how to fix them, but sometimes I get lucky.
Thank goodness for 'delete'. And crop.
Meanwhile, you young folks carry on - because I am awed by what you're doing! And I still like this thread! Thanks for starting it!

@GrammaChar -A beautiful sky image!!

Thank you very much for the kind words. I must admit though that I had to laugh at your comments..I'm sorry *Blush* You have a way of putting things that is quite laughable. I don't mean that in a bad way either. Oh yeah... there are no dragons..they just told you that to try and scare you. Blinking
On another note....I'm no spring chicken myself...two grandchildren and another on the way..So just remember this..

When we moved here [almost 3 yrs ago], only Dogwood trees were in this bed. Songbirds have added Spiderwort, Carolina Petunias - I have moved some Daffs and Day Lilies in here. But, the yellow False Sunflower seeds came from a dear Friend in Oklahoma - she also sent the Zinnia seeds and said ''go scatter''.. this is our Friendship Garden.

All photos taken with a Canon PowerShot SX60 - zoom lens to 65x / a bridge camera ..
Live like every day as it is your last because one day -- it will be.
(if I can find who said this, I'll credit that dear Soul -- wasn't me, but it makes a lot of sense)

This isn't a dress-rehearsal ~
