I am wondering why the two photos with the most acorns are not showing as the main photo? Is it not a true depiction of how the flower actually looks or what?

I know you meant thumbs up, not acorns.
When we first started getting images into the database, admin would often select an image of a bloom rather than something like a seed pod or leaves, as the main thumbnail before they were other blooms shots added. This one was still set like that so I just 'released' it from that position so the higher thumbs up would now take the place as the main thumbnail.

I was just looking at that daylily, and notice the last 2 pics are duplicates.

Close, but not quite duplicates.
