This is one of four salvia's purchased from our local nursery. They had a shipment of Suncrest salvia's in. They looked so fantastic and colorful together who would have wanted to split them up? Not me. Not at the store any way. Three salvias made their way to the bird bath. But the cute different little one looks over at them. Lemon Light has a delightful buttery kind of yellow flower. It's foliage is different than the other greggii. The leaves are a yellower green and branches are not as woody as the other greggii. That gives Lemon Light a fresh youthful appearance. However, that might be because it is young I have only had it since this spring. It has remained compact. Do not let it's appearance fool you. Like all autumn sage greggii, Lemon light is one tough cookie. Planted it in a sunny area and that cookie did not crumble! It is next to some light and dark purple garden mum's. Here greggii bloom heavily in the spring and fall as do the mums. I am looking forward to a fantastic fall show. You can never go wrong with Autumn Sage salvia greggii! Colorful, easy, drought resistant plants that given a few minutes of care return years of joy in the garden! Many blessings that your gardens are bountiful and your homes full of joy!

I prefer to walk in the light, I prefer a world where people want to be kind and bless each other, I prefer a God who loves and shares so much that he gave up his only Son for me. I prefer to choose the God of Abraham. Let there be peace and let it begin with me.
