Hi pirl. Thanks for your answer. I own an amaryllis and this plant is definitely different. It has narrower leaves with no septal division. They're also longer and grow all around (like a casket). :)

Hi Carol! It looked like Clivia miniata to me too but clivia has bigger leaves and their disposition is fan-like. Confused

I thought about that too, but the texture of the leaf looks right, and I can't remember how the leaf arrangement was as seedlings. Sighing!

If the leaf sort of folds in the middle it could be a Lily of the Nile or Agapanthus.
